After an interesting workshop with Jun Sato , we carry on with the student team and will fabricate the structure in Full-Scale . But before that, we will go to through different phases of design and optimization…
The physical model from the workshop has been 3d-scanned as a first step. Within the given model , we looked for guiding planes and repetitive beam orientations. These planes and vectors became the main values for the first digital axis-model. The last images represent basic structural analysis with Karamba 3d with gravity as a load case.
We want to use the structural analysis to inform the digital model again with the Kigumi joining idea.
The current structure consist of 45 beams with each a length of 2,2m and 5x5cm in section.
