Exhibition at the World Wood Days
starting from Wednesday, 21. – 24.3. 2019 – the full scale installation of the Kigumi structure along with some images, videos, models and artifacts of our work will be shown at the World Wood Days. The Event is hosted by the Austrian Open Air Museum (Freilichtmuseum) in Stuebing, Austria.
We will also have a presentation at the Symposium on Friday.
Field Trip to Thernberg
On Friday March 23rd 2018 we visited Sandra Tuider in her family owned forest in Thernberg (NÖ) to “harvest” some branches for our first real data-set for our project “branch formations”. This time we took some hornbeam, one of the toughest growing hardwoods in Lower Austria, “only suitable for making wood chips and being burnt”….SO FAR.
