With the help of Moritz K\u00fchn we completed the assembly for the latest Branch Formation prototype<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The refined joints are connected with stainless steel screws and washers. We planned all joint to be fixed by two screws from either side, in the assembly process however, we realized that at some locations we needed additional strengthening. Especially at the lower joints screws were added locally. To improve stability we could replace the screws with bolts which would also allow to compress pieces more to overcome and prevent gaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The structure loosely rests on a bed of gravel. The unevenness challenged the assembly but the supports could be adjusted and the loose stones prevent horizontal movement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
