Mr. Sato is a leading Japanese structural designer and engineer who is collaborating with architects such as Junya Ishigami, Sou Fujimoto or Kengo Kuma. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"font-family: Frutiger 45 Light, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\"><u><a href=\"http:\/\/junsato.k.u-tokyo.ac.jp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/junsato.k.u-tokyo.ac.jp<\/a><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Frutiger 45 Light, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">He is supported by architects and researchers Lukas Allner, Daniela Kroehnert and Philipp Reinsberg of Conceptual Joining.<\/span><\/span><\/span><u><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Calibri, serif; color: #000000;\">The aim of this workshop is to freely interpret and physically experiment on joinery techniques and the spatial potential of wooden frameworks.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri, serif; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">Students will explore and design 3-dimensional structures derived from <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri, serif; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Kigumi <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri, serif; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">techniques.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/em><span lang=\"de-DE\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri, serif; font-size: small;\">Those are composed of straight timber elements in a given dimension of 50x50x(max.)2000mm.
